Collection: Free Tree Seedlings

Every year in May during Maine's Arbor Week, Project Canopy - Maine's urban and community forestry program - distributes more than 3000 spruce and cedar seedlings, generously donated by Irving Woodlands and CedarWorks, for free to schools, municipalities and non-profits all across the state. Last year due to the pandemic, we pivoted a bit and opened our distribution to interested state residents. It was such a success, we're doing it again this year, and with Irving Woodlands’ help, we have over 7000 seedlings to share in 2021!

To request your free tree seedlings, please fill out & submit your order by 5 PM Friday, June 25th. YOU MUST BE A MAINE RESIDENT AND TREES MUST BE PLANTED WITHIN MAINE. Requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis.
